ABSTRACT Wind energy plays an important role in achieving energy transition and sustainable development goals, yet disparities between socio‐political and community acceptance continue to hinder project implementation. Understanding this gap is essential for designing more socially responsive wind energy policies.

ADDITIVITY PROPERTIES OF SOFIC ENTROPY AND MEASURES ON MODEL SPACES
Sofic entropy is an invariant for probability-preserving actions of sofic groups. It was introduced a few years ago by Lewis Bowen, and shown to extend the classical Kolmogorov–Sinai entropy from the setting of amenable groups.

Do Training Programmes Improve Awareness of Sustainable Finance?
ABSTRACT Many initiatives worldwide aim to improve financial knowledge through training programmes at different levels of education. In this context, it is worth highlighting that sustainable finance knowledge should receive attention in line with the global challenges (climate change, social and economic inequalities, etc.) society is facing ...

On the De Giorgi-Nash-Moser regularity theory for kinetic equations
In this note we review some recent results regarding the De Giorgi-Nash-Moser weak regularity theory for Kolmogorov operators obtained in [10] in collaboration with A. Rebucci.

A refinement of Kolmogorov's inequality
AbstractFor any n-times differentiable function f with uniform bounds on f and f(n), we study the pair of values (f(j)(t), f(j + 1)(t)) for an arbitrary real t and a prescribed j = 0,…, n − 1. A given value of f(j)(t) determines admissible values for f(j + 1)(t). These values are exactly determined in terms of the Euler spline En(t).

ABSTRACT Objectives Investigate the relationship between perceived stress and self‐reported bruxism among health science students, as well as to map the instruments used to assess both variables. Methods A total of 545 students from health science programs at the UNIFAL‐MG participated in this cross‐sectional study, which used the Self‐Reported Bruxism

The law of the iterated logarithm for LNQD sequences
Let { ξ i , i ∈ Z } $\{\xi_{i},i\in{\mathbb{Z}}\}$ be a stationary LNQD sequence of random variables with zero means and finite variance. In this paper, by the Kolmogorov type maximal inequality and Stein’s method, we establish the result of the law of ...

Goodness‐of‐Fit Tests for Positive Quadrant Dependence
Summary When two random variables are positive quadrant dependent (PQD), they are more likely to assume small (or large) values simultaneously compared with when the random variables are independent. This dependence structure is of interest in many areas, including finance, actuarial science and engineering.
