Drvnoplastični kompoziti (WPC) su materijali izgrađeni od sintetskih plastičnih masa i drvne sirovine bilo kojeg oblika. Osnovna svrha njihove proizvodnje je mogućnost zbrinjavanja (recikliranja) otpadnih plastičnih masa i drvnih ostataka. Za proizvodnju WPC najinteresantniji je polietilen (PE) koji se koristi u oko 83 % slučajeva.
