Bulletin of the Mineral Research and Exploration, 1967 Several volcanic rock specimens of Paleozoic age from the Sızma - Karatepe region, province of Konya, are described petrographically (Fig. 1). Observations reveal that volcanic rocks of this region were subjected to metamorphism of the glaucophanitic-greenschist facies, as indicated by the presence of stilpnomelane and glaucophane.
