The distributional Koopman operator for random dynamical systems

open access: yesMathematics of Control, Signals, and Systems
The Distributional Koopman Operator (DKO) is introduced as a way to perform Koopman analysis on random dynamical systems where only aggregate distribution data is available, thereby eliminating the need for particle tracking or detailed trajectory data.

The Conditional Impact of Recent Economic, Global, and Technological Challenges on Productivity Growth in EU Regions

open access: yesGrowth and Change, Volume 57, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT The global landscape is marked by ongoing transformations and abrupt shifts driven by new forms of globalisation through the expansion of Global Value Chains, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and recurring crises. This paper examines the role of these key economic, global, and technological challenges in shaping productivity growth across EU ...

Toward Psychometric Learning Analytics: Augmenting the Urnings Algorithm with Response Times

open access: yesJournal of Educational Measurement, Volume 63, Issue 1, Spring 2026.
Abstract Adaptive learning systems (ALS) aim to tailor the educational material to match the student's needs, ultimately improving the learning outcomes. An ALS dynamically adjust the level of practice based on the student's ability; therefore, obtaining accurate ability estimates is crucial.

When plans do not work out: Planning enhances perceived goal progress but increases perceived stress in case of goal failure

open access: yesJournal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Volume 99, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Planning is thought to benefit goal progress and goal achievement, thus fostering well‐being and performance at work. In contrast to this positive view, the present study illustrates that planning might have undesirable effects when goals are not met.

Innovative Approaches to Modelling and Forecasting in Fisheries: A Critical Review

open access: yesAquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 6, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Fisheries management increasingly demands robust forecasting tools to address growing environmental variability, anthropogenic pressures and complex ecological dynamics. This review systematically examines innovative modelling and forecasting approaches in fisheries, focusing on their descriptions, applications, strengths and limitations and ...

LPV Modeling Using the Koopman Operator

open access: green, 2020
Linear parameter-varying (LPV) models have been introduced to describe nonlinear (NL) and time-varying (TV) systems and make use of powerful results of linear control theory. LPV systems extend the notion of linear time invariant (LTI) systems, with the difference that the input/output relations change depending on a scheduling parameter.
