Classification of Korla fragrant pears using NIR hyperspectral imaging analysis
SPIE Proceedings, 2012Korla fragrant pears are small oval pears characterized by light green skin, crisp texture, and a pleasant perfume for which they are named. Anatomically, the calyx of a fragrant pear may be either persistent or deciduous; the deciduouscalyx fruits are considered more desirable due to taste and texture attributes.

The composition of volatile compounds in Korla fragrant pears was determined using headspace solid-phase microextraction followed by a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis using fruits at 30, 90, and 150 days after bloom. Hexanal, (E)-2-hexenal, 1-hexanol, (E)-2-hexen-1-ol, (Z)-3-hexen-1-ol, and hexyl acetate were identified as the major ...

[Effects of nitrogen application level on photosynthate distribution of Korla fragrant pear trees].
Ying yong sheng tai xue bao = The journal of applied ecology, 2021Using 13C pulsed labeling technique, we examined the biomass and carbon accumulation of different organs as well as the distribution characteristics of 13C assimilate of 6-year-old Korla fragrant pear trees under three nitrogen application levels, i.e., 150, 300, and 450 kg N·hm-2 (marked as N1, N2, and N3, respectively).

The Model of the Korla Fragrant Pear Mature Based on Effective Accumulated Temperature
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014In order to investigate the mature law of Korla fragrant pear with mathematics method, Korla pears in Aksu area be taken as the study object, and the fruit hardness and soluble solid content (SSC) be selected as the research index. The data of the two indices in the mature process are analyzed with Excel, SigmaPlot and Matlab.

Exploration on the Chemical Constituents and Pharmacological Effects of Korla Fragrant Pears
Journal of Clinical and Nursing ResearchKorla fragrant pears are one of the “famous, excellent, and special” fruits in Xinjiang. They belong to the white pear variety in the genus Pyrus of the Rosaceae family. With a long-standing planting history and strong regional characteristics, they are mainly produced in southern Xinjiang.

We isolated an MYB-like gene from Korla fragrant pear using differential display RT-PCR. Expression of this gene in flowers appears to be correlated with calyx persistence. Korla fragrant pear (Pyrus brestschneideri Rehd) is an economically important pear cultivar in China. A persistent calyx results in the deformation of the fruit.

CGS-YOLOv11s: target detection algorithm for Korla fragrant pears in multiple natural environments
Engineering Research ExpressAbstract The color of Korla fragrant pears often closely resembles that of the surrounding leaves. Furthermore, mutual occlusion among fruits and foliage increases detection difficulty, making them harder to identify than common fruits under natural environments.
