Control Strategy Scheme for the Prehydrolysis Kraft Process

Abstract This paper presents a control strategy scheme for the prehydrolysis stage in the prehydrolysis kraft process. The key element of the proposed control strategy is a softsensor, which estimates the rate of the unobservable reactions based on a physicochemical dynamic model of the process.

Surface Modification of Kraft Lignin by Mechanochemical Processing with Sodium Percarbonate

In this article, we present a novel one-pot mechanochemical reaction for the surface activation of lignin. The process involves environmentally friendly oxidation with hydrogen peroxide, depolymerization of fractions with high molecular mass, and introduction of new carbonyl functions into the lignin backbone.

The Development of Defoamer for Kraft Pulping Process

苛性ソーダと硫化ソーダを用いて,木材チップを高温高圧下で蒸解し,パルプを取り出す方法をクラフトパルプ法(KP法)という。このとき,化学的に変性したリグニンがアルカリ液中に溶出する。このアルカリ液は黒液と呼ばれ,溶出したリグニンが界面活性をもつために非常に泡立ちやすい性質になっている。クラフトパルプ製造工程ではこの黒液がパルプの希釈水や洗浄水,分散液として循環使用されるため,泡が大量に発生する。泡はパルプの洗浄速度を下げ生産性が低下するほか,洗浄効率を低下させパルプの白色度が低下するなどパルプの品質に悪影響を及ぼす。そこで,泡をコントロールすることは,パルプの生産性と品質を安定化させために重要なポイントとなる。泡をコントロールする方法には機械的方法と化学的方法があるが ...
