Relativistic force between fast electrons and planar targets
The full retarded electromagnetic force experienced by swift electrons moving parallel to planar boundaries is revisited, for both metallic and dielectric targets, with special emphasis on the consequences in electron microscopy experiments. The focus is

Kinetic Contribution to the Arbitrary Order Odd Frequency Moments of the Dynamic Structure Factor
ABSTRACT An exact expression is derived for the kinetic contribution to the odd (arbitrary order) frequency moments of the dynamic structure factor via a finite summation that features averages of even (all lower orders) powers of the momentum over the exact momentum distribution.

This work provides a surprisingly simple demonstration that the quantized Hall conductivity of correlated insulators is given by the many-body Chern number, a topological invariant defined in the space of twisted boundary conditions.

Dispersion relation for air via Kramers-Kronig analysis [PDF]
A general expression for the dispersion of acoustic waves in air is obtained by combining the attenuation coefficient given by the ISO:9613-1 standard and the twice-subtracted Kramers-Kronig relation. Good agreement is found with published data of sound velocity at different frequencies and relative humidities.

Tuning Stability and Optoelectronic Properties of CsSnI3 Via Rare‐Earth Doping
Sn‐based halide perovskites are promising optoelectronic materials but are limited by poor stability. Thus, rare‐earth elements (RE) doping in CsSnI3 addresses this limitation, significantly enhancing thermodynamic, mechanical, and chemical stability, while simultaneously tuning electronic characteristics and modulating optical responses in the ...

Integrated Photonic Modulator Circuit With Programmable Intensity and Phase Modulation Response
A platform‐agnostic programmable modulation circuit is introduced to enable tunable and universal optimization of integrated photonic modulators. By flexibly controlling carrier amplitude and phase, the approach adapts to diverse device characteristics without structural redesign.

Signal Propagation in Electromagnetic Media Modelled by the Two-Sided Fractional Derivative
In this paper, wave propagation is considered in a medium described by a fractional-order model, which is formulated with the use of the two-sided fractional derivative of Ortigueira and Machado.

Theory of Supercritical Coupling and Generalized Bound States in the Continuum
We develop a general theory of supercritical coupling and generalized bound states in the continuum (gBICs), revealing how interference between radiative and absorptive channels enables quality factors beyond conventional material‐loss limits. The framework unifies non‐Hermitian mode coupling, causality‐driven reactive interactions, and interference ...

Development of ultrafast time-resolved dual-comb spectroscopy
Ultrafast time-resolved dual-comb spectroscopy (TR-DCS) has been demonstrated, which enables direct observations of transient responses of complex optical spectra by combining dual-comb spectroscopy with the pump–probe

Based on the modified Langevin noise formalism and BA‐MA theory, optimized computational formulations are demonstrated for quantum plasmonic simulations without explicit BA–MA mode construction. Plasmonic Hong‐Ou‐Mandel interference, g2, atomic population, and single‐photon probability amplitudes are efficiently analyzed, revealing directional single ...
