Private Outsourced Kriging Interpolation

2017
Kriging is a spatial interpolation algorithm which provides the best unbiased linear prediction of an observed phenomena by taking a weighted average of samples within a neighbourhood. It is widely used in areas such as geo-statistics where, for example, it may be used to predict the quality of mineral deposits in a location based on previous sample ...

Kriging interpolation of a Bézier curve

Computer-Aided Design, 1991
The author shows that the parametric cubic equations of a Bèzier curve may be obtained from the kriging interpolation scheme.

Privacy-preserving kriging interpolation on partitioned data

Knowledge-Based Systems, 2014
Kriging is well-known, frequently applied method in geo-statistics. Its success primarily depends on the total number of measurements for some sample points. If there are sufficient sample points with measurements, kriging will reflect the surface accurately. Obtaining a sufficient number of measurements can be costly and time-consuming.

Texture Interpolation Using Ordinary Kriging

2005
We present a survey of the application of ordinary Kriging to texture interpolation using a variety of models that have been proposed to model the variogram of the image. The novelty of our approach is in the fully automated process of fitting the models to the data over a finite range of values.
