New techniques for solving some matrix and matrix differential equations

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2015
Matrix and matrix differential equations play an important role in system theory, control theory, stability theory of differential equations, communication systems and many other fields.

Kronecker products and BIBDs

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Theory, Series A, 1973
AbstractRecursive constructions are given which permit, under conditions described in the paper, a (v, b, r, k, λ)-configuration to be used to obtain a (v′, b′, r′, k, λ)-configuration.

关于(k,h)-Fibonacci和(k,h)-Lucas数的r-循环矩阵的谱范数(On the spectral norms of r-circulant matrices with the (k,h)-Fibonacci and (k,h)-Lucas numbers)

open access: yesZhejiang Daxue xuebao. Lixue ban, 2014
Based on the general theory of matrix and some properties of (k,h)-Fibonacci and (k,h)-Lucas numbers, the upper and lower bounds for the spectral norms of r-circulant matrices and are given.

Vulnerability parameters of tensor product of complete equipartite graphs [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2013
Let \(G_{1}\) and \(G_{2}\) be two simple graphs. The tensor product of \(G_{1}\) and \(G_{2}\), denoted by \(G_{1}\times G_{2}\), has vertex set \(V(G_{1}\times G_{2})=V(G_{1})\times V(G_{2})\) and edge set \(E(G_{1}\times G_{2})=\{(u_{1},v_{1})(u_{2 ...

Selected Payback Statistical Contributions to Matrix/Linear Algebra: Some Counterflowing Conceptualizations

open access: yesStats, 2022
Matrix/linear algebra continues bestowing benefits on theoretical and applied statistics, a practice it began decades ago (re Fisher used the word matrix in a 1941 publication), through a myriad of contributions, from recognition of a suite of matrix ...

A Unifying Thermodynamic Model for Phase Separation and Aging of Biopolymers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phase separation and aging of intrinsically disordered proteins are placed in a unifying framework. A thermodynamically consistent time‐dependent version of associating‐polymer theory shows how the processes are intricately coupled. Assuming aging to occur through interacting sites resulting from reversible conformational transitions, the model ...

Advanced tools for basis decompositions of genus-one string integrals

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In string theories, one-loop scattering amplitudes are characterized by integrals over genus-one surfaces using the Kronecker-Eisenstein series. A recent methodology proposed a genus-one basis formed from products of these series of chain topologies.

Graph Sampling Through Graph Decomposition and Reconstruction Based on Kronecker Graphs [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, 2022
The connectedness of the social network gives rise to a new challenge of how to efficiently sample the network and keep the graph properties and topology properties as well.

Kronecker products and the RSK correspondence

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2012
The starting point for this work is an identity that relates the number of minimal matrices with prescribed 1-marginals and coefficient sequence to a linear combination of Kronecker coefficients. In this paper we provide a bijection that realizes combinatorially this identity.
