Robust and Radiation-Resistant Hofmann-Type Metal-Organic Frameworks for Record Xenon/Krypton Separation.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2022
The discovery of high-performance adsorbents for highly efficient separation of xenon from krypton is an important but challenging task in the chemical industry due to their similar size and inert spherical nature.

Krypton in the Chassigny meteorite shows Mars accreted chondritic volatiles before nebular gases

Science, 2022
Volatile elements are thought to have been delivered to Solar System terrestrial planets late in their formation through accretion of chondritic meteorites.

A Robust Squarate-Based Metal-Organic Framework Demonstrates Record-High Affinity and Selectivity for Xenon over Krypton.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2019
The efficient separation of xenon (Xe) and krypton (Kr) is one of the industrially important processes. While adsorptive separation of these two species is considered to be an energy efficient process, developing highly selective adsorbent remains ...

Krypton-krypton molecular interaction

Physica, 1961
Abstract Mainly on the basis of the various crystal properties the potential energy of interaction of krypton on a six-parameter model has been obtained. The potential energy curve thus obtained is more logical than those on the usual two or three parameter models (e.g. exp-6, L-J (6–12) etc.). It has been found that the force constants on the L-J

Properties of metastable krypton atoms in afterglows produced in krypton and krypton–nitrogen mixtures

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1976
Light absorption techniques are used to study the temporal dependence of the number densities of the 5s′00 and 5s12 krypton metastable atoms during the decay period (afterglow) of a pulsed discharge in krypton and krypton–nitrogen mixtures. The sensitivity of the temporal properties of the 5s′00 state of krypton to discharge pulse conditions was ...

The Compressibility of Krypton. I. An Equation of State for Krypton and the Weight of a Liter of Krypton

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1952
The compressibility of krypton containing 0.90 mole percent xenon has been measured from 0° to 300°C and over the density range 1 to 10 mole per liter. The constants of the Beattie-Bridgeman equation of state for the sample and for pure krypton were determined. The constants for pure krypton are R=0.08206, A0=2.4230, a=0.02865, B0=0.05261, b=0, c=14.89×

On the excitation of krypton

Journal of Applied Spectroscopy, 1965
The populations of the 1s, 2p, and 3p levels of krypton have been determined. The electrical parameters of the glow discharge have been measured by the two-probe method. The oscillator strengths of 13 spectral lines of krypton were determined in the visible and near-infrared portions of the spectrum.
