AbstractThe Kudryashov–Sinelshchikov–Olver equation describes pressure waves in liquids with gas bubbles taking into account heat transfer and viscosity. In this paper, we prove the existence of solutions of the Cauchy problem associated with this equation.

Equivalence group for generalized Kudryashov-Sinelshchikov equations of second order
The equivalence group for a class of nonlinear evolution partial differential equations, generalizing the second order Kudryashov-Sinelshchikov equation which describes pressure waves in liquid with bubbles, is calculated. Then a preliminary group classification of the equations in the considered class is obtained.
