Dispersive optical solitons by Kudryashov's method

Optik, 2014
Abstract This paper studies the dynamics of dispersive optical solitions that is modeled by the fourth order nonlinear Schrodinger's equation and Schrodinger–Hirota equation, the latter of which is considered with power law nonlinearity. Kudryashov's method is applied to obtain soliton solutions to the model equations.

Optical soliton with Kudryashov’s equation via sine-Gordon expansion and Kudryashov methods

Optical and Quantum Electronics, 2021
This article is concerned with analyzing exact optical soliton solutions to Kudryashov’s model. To this end, the sine-Gordon expansion and Kudryashov methods are exerted and a bunch of new optical soliton solutions is acquired. The implementation and algebraic methods are discussed in detail.

Existence results for the Kudryashov–Sinelshchikov–Olver equation

Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh: Section A Mathematics, 2020
AbstractThe Kudryashov–Sinelshchikov–Olver equation describes pressure waves in liquids with gas bubbles taking into account heat transfer and viscosity. In this paper, we prove the existence of solutions of the Cauchy problem associated with this equation.

The modified Kudryashov method for solving some evolution equations

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2012
The traveling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations have important role in many fields of applied sciences. In this study, we dwell upon the (2+1) dimensional Nizhnik-Nokikov-Veselov system and the modified Kudryashov method is used to construct traveling wave solutions.
