Baptismal Ecclesiology

open access: yesThe Ecumenical Review, Volume 77, Issue 1-2, Page 54-63, January–April 2025.
Abstract This article discusses baptism as expressing the four‐fold relationality of life based on God, creation, neighbour, and self, as found in the second narrative of creation in the book of Genesis. A Study on h‐BN Resistive Switching Temporal Response

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 10, Issue 9, September 2024.
This work presents a study on temporal resistive switching response to driving stimulus on h‐BN memristors. The study describes conductive path mechanisms and means to optimize programming latencies and state transition energy to achieve < 10 pJ switching energies and < 25 ns set programming latencies with guided opportunities for further optimization.

Non-Abelian off-diagonal geometric phases in nano-engineered four-qubit systems

open access: yes, 2013
The concept of off-diagonal geometric phase (GP) has been introduced in order to recover interference information about the geometry of quantal evolution where the standard GPs are not well-defined.

The finger weeder cultivator for intra‐row mechanical weed control: Effects of uprooting force on selected weed species

open access: yesWeed Research, Volume 64, Issue 4, Page 321-332, August 2024.
Abstract Mechanical weed control tools are commonly used in the production of many vegetable and field crops. This study aimed to determine the impact of weed species and growth stage on the finger weeder performances and to reveal the relation between root morphology, uprooting force and control efficacy.

Ehren und Erinnern (re‐)konstruieren – ein Kommentar.

open access: yesBerichte zur Wissenschaftsgeschichte, Volume 47, Issue 1-2, Page 151-170, June 2024.
Abstract The commentary interprets the practices of remembering and the creation of memory as an attempt at academic and public‐media self‐understanding, which exhibit past‐political, present‐oriented and future‐oriented perspectives and intentions. Academic politics of history and remembrance can hardly be imagined without reference to and interaction

Geometric phase distributions for open quantum systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
In an open system, the geometric phase should be described by a distribution. We show that a geometric phase distribution for open system dynamics is in general ambiguous, but the imposition of reasonable physical constraints on the environment and its ...

A comparison of seven innovative robotic weeding systems and reference herbicide strategies in sugar beet (Beta vulgaris subsp. vulgaris L.) and rapeseed (Brassica napus L.)

open access: yesWeed Research, Volume 64, Issue 1, Page 42-53, February 2024.
Abstract More than 40 weeding robots have become commercially available, with most restricted to use in crops or fallow applications. The machines differ in their sensor systems for navigation and weed/crop detection, weeding tools and degree of automation.
