Study on new integral operators defined using confluent hypergeometric function
Two new integral operators are defined in this paper using the classical Bernardi and Libera integral operators and the confluent (or Kummer) hypergeometric function.

Euler-type transformations for the generalized hypergeometric function r+2Fr+1(x) [PDF]
We provide generalizations of two of Euler’s classical transformation formulas for the Gauss hypergeometric function extended to the case of the generalized hypergeometric function r+2 F r+1(x) when there are additional numeratorial and denominatorial ...

In this manuscript, we study the relativistic quantum mechanics of an electron in external fields in the spinning cosmic string spacetime. We obtain the Dirac equation and write the first- and second-order equations from it, and then, we solve these ...

Transformation formulas for the generalized hypergeometric function with integral parameter differences [PDF]
Transformation formulas of Euler and Kummer-type are derived respectively for the generalized hypergeometric functions r+2Fr+1(x) and r+1Fr+1(x), where r pairs of numeratorial and denominatorial parameters differ by positive integers.

Using a star product of one variable, we construct a deformation of the Kummer function, called a star Kummer function. We show the convergence of the power series of the star Kummer function and then we obtain that the star Kummer function is an entire function of the variable and also with respect to the defomation parameter.

The analytical solution for the propagation of the laser beam with optical vortex through the system of lenses is presented. The optical vortex is introduced into the laser beam (described as Gaussian beam) by spiral phase plate.

On a Generalization of the Kummer’s Quadratic Transformation and a Resolution of an Isolated Case
The resolution of isolated cases of the well-known quadratic transformation due to Kummer was thoroughly examined in two recent publications by Atia as well as Atia and Al-Mohaimeed. The objective of this paper is twofold. We establish generalizations of

Computing hypergeometric functions rigorously [PDF]
We present an efficient implementation of hypergeometric functions in arbitrary-precision interval arithmetic. The functions ${}_0F_1$, ${}_1F_1$, ${}_2F_1$ and ${}_2F_0$ (or the Kummer $U$-function) are supported for unrestricted complex parameters and ...

A Note on Extended Genus Fields of Kummer Extensions of Global Rational Function Fields
We consider the generalization of the extended genus field of a prime degree cyclic Kummer extension of a global rational function field obtained by R. Clement in 1992 to general Kummer extensions.

Generalized Bivariate Kummer-Beta Distribution
A new bivariate beta distribution based on the Humbert’s confluent hypergeometric function of the second kind is introduced. Various representations are derived for its product moments, marginal densities, marginal moments, conditional densities and ...
