Kuramoto-like model of noisy oscillators

The Kuramoto model is a paradigm to describe the dynamics of nonlinear oscillators under the influence of external perturbations or couplings. It is based on the idea to reduce the state equations to a scalar differential equation, that defines the time evolution for the phase of the oscillator.

The synchronization process in a generalized Kuramoto model

In this paper, the critical point that is a coupling strength at which the model changes from desynchronization to synchronization is solved by the mean field method theoretically and the phenomenon that with the increase of the mean value in the Gaussian distribution, the corresponding critical point is reduced is explained.

Synchronization in the Kuramoto model

We propose a dynamical gradient network approach to consider the synchronization in the Kuramoto model. Our scheme to adaptively adjust couplings is based on the dynamical gradient networks, where the number of links in each time interval is the same as the number of oscillators, but the links in different time intervals are also different.
