Higher-order interactions in Kuramoto oscillators with inertia

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2023
How higher-order interactions influence the dynamics of second order phase oscillators? We address this question using three coupled Kuramoto phase oscillators with inertia under both pairwise and higher order interactions, finding collective states, which are absent for pair-wise interactions.

Synchronization of Kuramoto Oscillators on Knots [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Sciences, 2013
A knot is a circle embedded in the space. Projecting a knot on a plane, we obtain a diagram which is known as the knot diagram. The vertices of the diagram, where the curved lines are crossed, can be considered as sites occupied by oscillators. The synchronization of these oscillators can be studied by means of a Kuramoto model.

The Third Type of Chaos in a System of Adaptively Coupled Phase Oscillators with Higher-Order Interactions

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
Adaptive network models arise when describing processes in a wide range of fields and are characterized by some specific effects. One of them is mixed dynamics, which is the third type of chaos in addition to the conservative and dissipative types.

Synchronization of Kuramoto Oscillators: Inverse Taylor Expansions [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2019
Synchronization in networks of coupled oscillators is a widely studied topic with extensive scientific and engineering applications. In this paper, we study the frequency synchronization problem for networks of Kuramoto oscillators with arbitrary topology and heterogeneous edge weights.

Exponential Dephasing of Oscillators in the Kinetic Kuramoto Model [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Physics, 2015
We study the kinetic Kuramoto model for coupled oscillators with coupling constant below the synchronization threshold. We manage to prove that, for any analytic initial datum, if the interaction is small enough, the order parameter of the model vanishes exponentially fast, and the solution is asymptotically described by a free flow.

Influence of the topology of coupled antiferromagnetic oscillators on their mutual synchronization [PDF]

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Прикладная нелинейная динамика
The purpose the purpose of this study is to mathematically describe an ensemble of oscillators coupled by a common dipole field, to model and study the synchronization of the three topologies under consideration: a ring, a grid, and a special case of a ...
