Modeling and Predicting the Spatiotemporal Dynamics of Construction Waste Hauling Trucks Using an Input–Output Hidden Markov Approach

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Construction waste hauling (CWH) trucks are a significant source of air pollution and particulate emissions in urban environments, prompting strict regulatory controls and monitoring. Accurate prediction of their transportation activities, including destinations and arrival times, is critical for improving environmental management and regulatory ...

Occupational Therapy Group Interventions Within the Area of Time Use and Occupational Balance: A Scoping Review

open access: yesOccupational Therapy International, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Introduction Group interventions are one mode of delivery that supports individuals experiencing challenges related to time management and occupational imbalance in their recovery. However, research on available group interventions, their key components, and how to evaluate their potential effects on time use and occupational balance is scarce.

Can Computed Tomography Perfusion Predict Treatment Response After Prostate Artery Embolization: A Feasibility Study

open access: yesDiagnostics, 2020
Prostate artery embolization (PAE) is an emerging therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Optimal patient selection is an important step when introducing new treatments and several characteristics associated with a good clinical outcome has ...

The Interplay of Biotic and Abiotic Factors in Shaping Genetic Variation at 6Pgdh in the Bulb Mite

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 12, December 2025.
We used experimental evolution to track changes in 6Pgdh allele frequencies in bulb mites over 13 generations under different temperatures and sexual selection intensities. Our results show that the F allele increases in frequency only at low temperatures under strong sexual selection, indicating that the maintenance of genetic variation in this system

Blir kvinnelige siviløkonomer lønnsdiskriminert?

open access: yesMagma, 2018

Sex‐Linked Differentiation in Commercially Exploited Fishes: Rethinking Population Structure in Dynamic Marine Environments

open access: yesGlobal Change Biology, Volume 31, Issue 10, October 2025.
Sex‐linked divergence, rather than geography, is the principal driver of genomic variation in the commercially important deep‐water hake (Merluccius paradoxus) located off the southern African coastline. Together with spatial differences in sex distribution and genomic diversity metrics, results suggest that males and females may differ in both range ...

Dynamic Evolution of Self‐Regulated Learning Profiles in Blended Learning: A Longitudinal Study of Freshmen and Upper‐Level Students

open access: yesJournal of Computer Assisted Learning, Volume 41, Issue 5, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Self‐Regulated Learning (SRL) plays a crucial role in student success, particularly in blended learning (BL) environments where learners must take greater ownership of their educational journey. Whilst prior research has extensively examined SRL, there remains a gap in understanding how students' SRL profiles evolve over time and ...

Baltic Sea Coastal Eutrophication in a Thousand Year Perspective

open access: yesFrontiers in Environmental Science, 2019
Sediment cores from three sites along the east-coast of Sweden, north-western Baltic Proper, have been studied with respect to lithologies, geochemistry, and diatom assemblages to trace and date early human impact with emphasis on nutrient discharge. The

Lateralization of Hippocampal Dentate Spikes and Sharp‐Wave Ripples in Urethane Anesthetized Rats Depends on Cholinergic Tone

open access: yesHippocampus, Volume 35, Issue 5, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Neural activity and bodily functions are inherently rhythmic and related to each other. The occurrence of hippocampal sharp‐wave ripples (SPW‐Rs) and dentate spikes (DSs) supporting memory consolidation is regulated by the overall state of the brain, and they also seem to aggregate to a certain phase of the breathing cycle in naturally ...

Evaluating a program to prevent anxiety in children of anxious parents: a randomized controlled trial

open access: yesJournal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, Volume 66, Issue 9, Page 1345-1356, September 2025.
Background Pediatric anxiety disorders are prevalent, particularly among children with anxious parents. This trial evaluated a program for anxious parents aimed at preventing offspring anxiety disorders and symptoms over 12 months. Methods This parallel, randomized, controlled, open‐label trial was conducted at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.
