Small Science, Volume 4, Issue 8, August 2024.Investigation of 2,4,6‐triphenylpyrylium tetrachloroferrate (Py‐FeCl4) at high pressure reveals its piezochromic properties. Reversible multicolor‐switching behavior of Py‐FeCl4 (yellow–orange–red–maroon–black) is detected in the 0–9 GPa pressure range.
