The Hoanh Bo Trough‐a landward keyhole to the syn‐rift Late Eocene–Early Oligocene terrestrial succession of the northern Song Hong Basin (onshore north‐east Vietnam)

open access: yesGeological Journal, Volume 57, Issue 10, Page 4216-4241, October 2022., 2022
The sedimentary pattern and interpretation of the Hoanh Bo Trough evolution match well with the rift initiation, rift development, and rift termination tectonic system tracts of the South China Sea and could be treated as a landward keyhole for the offshore basins of the northern Song Hong Basin.

Everyday attentiveness: understanding diabetes in Vietnam through literary displacement

open access: yesJournal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, Volume 28, Issue 2, Page 595-612, June 2022., 2022
Abstract World‐wide, diabetes is taking on epidemic proportions. This is a debilitating disease that damages and destroys bodily systems unless blood sugar levels are kept close to normal, and patients are therefore urged to practise attentive self‐management.

Remarks on the Initial and Terminal Value Problem for Time and Space Fractional Diffusion Equation

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
The fractional problem for partial differential equation has many applications in science and technology. The main objective of the paper is to investigate the convergence of the mild solution of the diffusion equation with time and space fractional. We consider the problem in two cases which are forward problem and inverse problem.

The Force of Love: Type II Diabetes in Vietnam as Tentatively Transformative Experience

open access: yesEthos, Volume 49, Issue 3, Page 329-347, September 2021., 2021
Abstract In Vietnam, as in many other countries across the world, type II diabetes is attaining epidemic proportions. Drawing on ethnographic fieldwork conducted in Vietnam's Thái Bình province, this article highlights the affective complexities that arise when people strive to adjust to a life with this chronic, debilitating disease.

Final Value Problem for Parabolic Equation with Fractional Laplacian and Kirchhoff’s Term

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this paper, we study a diffusion equation of the Kirchhoff type with a conformable fractional derivative. The global existence and uniqueness of mild solutions are established. Some regularity results for the mild solution are also derived. The main tools for analysis in this paper are the Banach fixed point theory and Sobolev embeddings.

On Fractional Diffusion Equation with Caputo‐Fabrizio Derivative and Memory Term

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this paper, we examine a nonlinear fractional diffusion equation containing viscosity terms with derivative in the sense of Caputo‐Fabrizio. First, we establish the local existence and uniqueness of lightweight solutions under some assumptions about the input data. Then, we get the global solution using some new techniques.

GIS‐Based Soft Computing Models for Landslide Susceptibility Mapping: A Case Study of Pithoragarh District, Uttarakhand State, India

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
The main objective of the study was to investigate performance of three soft computing models: Naïve Bayes (NB), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) neural network classifier, and Alternating Decision Tree (ADT) in landslide susceptibility mapping of Pithoragarh District of Uttarakhand State, India. For this purpose, data of 91 past landslide locations and ten
