Quantification of locked mode instability triggered by a change in confinement
This work presents the first analysis of the disruptive locked mode (LM) triggered by the dynamics of a confinement change. It shows that, under certain conditions, the LM threshold during the transient is significantly lower than expected from steady ...

Nitric oxide (NO) has a dual effect on mitochondria. Incubating liver mitochondria with NO improves oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) efficiency by decreasing state 4 respiration more than ATP synthesis and preventing mitochondrial permeability ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

A new model of the L–H transition and H-mode power threshold
In order to understand the mechanism of the confinement bifurcation and H-mode power threshold in magnetically confined plasma, a new dynamical model of the L–H transition based on edge instability phase transition (EIPT) has been developed.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Dynamical Model of Pressure-Gradient-Driven Turbulence and Shear Flow Generation in L-H Transition
"We present a dynamical model for the L-H transition consisting of three ordinary differential equations. This model describes temporal evolutions of three characteristic variables, i.e., the free energy contained in the pressure gradient, the turbulent

Effect of Artificial Aging Conditions on Mechanical Properties of EN AW 6056 Aluminum Alloy
The 6xxx series aluminum alloys are preferred in many industrial applications because they can achieve relatively high strength levels through heat treatment.

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Spatial Structure of Compound Dither in L/H Transition
"To study the plasma evolutin and spatial structure at the L/H transition, the double hysteresis is examined by use of the 1-dimensional transport model equations.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
