L-band repeat-pass DEM-generation with DLR's experimental SAR (E-SAR)

IEEE 1999 International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium. IGARSS'99 (Cat. No.99CH36293), 2003
The first results of the generation of a L-band-DEM resulting from E-SAR repeat-pass interferometric SAR-data are presented. The modifications that are required to adapt the conventional phase-to-height conversion algorithms to the L-band repeat-pass case are described.

The Effect of Forest Foliage on L-Band Polarimetric SAR Data

IGARSS 2018 - 2018 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2018
In this article, the effect of forest foliage in L-band SAR data is studied using images containing deciduous (beech) and evergreen (cedar) forests. Four datasets with different seasons by ALOS polarimetric PALSAR are analyzed. With respect to beech forests, more decrease of the cross-polarization backscatter power is observed after leaves fall ...
