A Joint Elliott Type Theorem for Twists of L-Functions of Elliptic Curves
We consider a collection of L-functions of elliptic curves twisted by a Dirichlet character modulo q (q is a prime number), and prove for this collection a joint limit theorem for weakly convergent probability measures in the space of analytic functions ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Deep neural networks typically outperform more traditional machine learning models in their ability to classify complex data, and yet is not clear how the individual hidden layers of a deep network contribute to the overall classification performance. We

Duality of bounded and scattering wave systems with local symmetries
We investigate the spectral properties of a class of hard-wall bounded systems, described by potentials exhibiting domain-wise different local symmetries.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Experimental demonstration of a high quality factor photonic crystal microcavity
Sub-threshold measurements of a photonic crystal (PC) microcavity laser operating at 1.3 microns show a linewidth of 0.10 nm, corresponding to a quality factor Q ~ 1.3x10^4.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
