On the exact sampling distribution of L-statistics [PDF]
This paper shows that linear functions of order statistics (L-statistics) based on random samples have a Fundamental Skew distribution (Arellano-Valle Genton, 2003). The paper also examines the exact distribution of L-statistics when the sampled population is Skew Normal. Exact distributions of L-statistics from normal samples easily follows as special

The exact sampling distribution of L-statistics
2005this paper shows that linear functions of order statistics (L-statistics) based on random samples have e Fundamental Skew distribution. It also shows that the exact distribution of L-statistics from Skew Normal random samples is Closed Skew-Normal. Exact distributions of L-statistics from Normal samples follows as special cases.

On analogues of the berry?esseen inequality for L-statistics
Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 1994In this paper we present estimates for the rate of convergence of distributions of linear combinations of order statistics (L-statistics) to the normal law, having an optimal order under light moment assumptions regarding the initial distribution.

On asymptotic representation and approximation to normality of L- statistics. II
1983Summary: [For part I see ibid. 43, 67-83 (1981; Zbl 0518.62018).] An asymptotic representation and some convergence rates to normality have been studied for linear functions of order statistics based on mixing processes.
