Short circuit force in an AIS with special reference to L-L and L-L-L faults
2018 20th National Power Systems Conference (NPSC), 2018Short circuit force (SCF) in an air insulted substation is a feature which is of importance in its electromechanical design. SCF which are generated due to short circuit current is transferred from conductors (flexible or rigid) to end connections where the conductors are being held.

l-Tryptophan l-tryptophanium chloride
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2015L-tryptophan L-tryptophanium chloride is a new salt with (A⋯A(+)) type dimeric cation. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system (space group P2(1), Z=2). The asymmetric unit contains one zwitterionic L-tryptophan molecule, one L-tryptophanium cation and one chloride anion.

The space L1 ∩L ∞ , which we study in this chapter, consists of all bounded integrable functions equipped with the norm \(\|\cdot \|_{\mathbf{L}_{1}\cap \mathbf{L}_{\infty }} =\max (\|\cdot \|_{\mathbf{L}_{1}},\,\|\cdot \|_{\mathbf{L}_{\infty }})\). We show that \((\mathbf{L}_{1} \cap \mathbf{L}_{\infty },\,\|\cdot \|_{\mathbf{L}_{1}\cap \mathbf{L}_ ...

The racemization-free method of peptide coupling involving use of 2-hydroxyphenyl esters has been successfully applied to the synthesis of sequential polypeptides containing L-tyrosine and L-glutamic acid. The reactive hydroxy-group of these esters was protected by formation of a phenacyl ether; this led to easily crystallizable derivatives, and the ...

Hydrogenation reactions with RuCl2(L-L)2 (L-L = bidentate phosphine) Part II
Journal of Molecular Catalysis, 1986Abstract The compounds with general formula RuCl 2 (L-L) 2 (L-L bidentate phosphine, Ph 2 P(CH 2 ) n PPh 2 , n = 4, 5, 6) catalytically hydrogenate unsaturated organic substrates such as olefins, dienes, aldehydes and ketones under moderate reaction conditions in polar solvents, even in the absence of NH 4 + salts.

L-Nonformation, L-Ancillarity, and L-Sufficiency
Theory of Probability & Its Applications, 2000Summary: A concept ''L-nonformation,'' of no information about a parameter of interest, is defined. It implies concepts of generalized ancillarity and sufficiency, termed L-ancillarity and L-sufficiency (the latter having been studied previously). Here L stands for likelihood. Properties of these concepts are discussed.
