Configurations of Extremal Even Unimodular Lattices
We extend the results of Ozeki on the configurations of extremal even unimodular lattices. Specifically, we show that if L is such a lattice of rank 56, 72, or 96, then L is generated by its minimal-norm vectors.Comment: 8 pages. To appear, International

Enhancement of L10 transformation in Fe/Pt multilayer by Cu addition
Enhancement in L10 transformation kinetics in FePt is achieved by incorporating an optimum concentration of ternary element Cu, which has limited solubility in the fcc FePt phase, into the FePt multilayer stack.

Thermodynamic Geometry and Topological Einstein-Yang-Mills Black Holes
From the perspective of the statistical fluctuation theory, we explore the role of the thermodynamic geometries and vacuum (in)stability properties for the topological Einstein-Yang-Mills black holes.

GCN2 in proteostasis: structural logic, signalling networks and disease
Threats to protein synthesis activate the kinase GCN2, initiating the integrated stress response (ISR). GCN2 is triggered by stalled ribosomes and uncharged tRNAs, which accumulate when amino acids are scarce. The ISR adjusts cellular physiology by promoting redox balance, protein quality control, and mitochondrial optimisation.

Open Innovation for Circular Business Models: Addressing the Right Challenge at the Right Time
ABSTRACT Academic Summary In response to escalating societal challenges, such as climate change and resource constraints, this article examines the transition from linear toward circular business models (CBMs). It explores the challenges of CBM transitions and how to tackle them through open innovation.

Fe50Pt50–xPdx alloy thin films with L10 structure epitaxially grown on MgO(001) substrates
Fe50Pt50–xPdx (at. %, x = 0, 12.5, 25, 37.5, 50) alloy epitaxial films are prepared on MgO(001) substrates at temperatures ranging from room temperature to 600 °C by radio-frequency magnetron sputtering.

Tabanus tenens identified in this study is a newly recorded species in Thailand. DNA barcoding using the cox1 gene identified tabanid species in the present study. WGM data from different sites served as a reference for species identification. Abstract Tabanid flies are gaining high medical and veterinary importance due to their role as a vector of ...

Serial Spatial Transcriptomes Reveal Regulatory Transitions in Maize Leaf Development
ABSTRACT Plant leaves originate from the shoot apical meristem (SAM) and undergo a developmental process of highly coordinated gene expression regulation. To date, only a few key regulators have been identified and characterised, so the gene expression cascades responsible for leaf cell specification and differentiation from SAM remain largely elusive.
