Attenuation of L10 by long barriers

The theoretical attenuation of traffic noise by long barriers has been studied, by using a Monte Carlo snapshot technique for description of individual vehicle contributions, and the results compared with those obtained when line and point source approximations are used for the traffic noise source.

Preparation of L10 ordered CuAu buffer layer and its effect on the L10 ordering in the FePt thin film

Abstract The L10 ordering in co-sputtered CuAu films was investigated at first. It is found that the Cu50Au50 (at.%) film starts L10 ordering above the 100 °C substrate temperature, and can be fully L10 ordered (long-range order parameter S≈1) at the 450 °C substrate temperature.

Influence of honking on the noisier situation (L10)

A study of noise due to honking and its impact on L10 has been carried out at Kolkata metropolis. The relation between L10, honking, traffic and the percentage of heavy vehicle has been determined. L10, the noise level that exceeds 10% of the monitoring time, is a measure of the higher noise level.
