Fusion with ribosomal protein L32 increased the in vivo thermostability of kanamycin nucleotidyltransferase in Thermus thermophilus

open access: closedJournal of Fermentation and Bioengineering, 1996
Abstract The kanamycin resistance (Km r ) gene widely used as an antibiotic resistance marker in Thermus strains was expressed at temperatures of up to 60°C in Thermus thermophilus HB27. We isolated a clone from HB27 that exhibited the Km r phenotype at 70°C.

Comparison of the mouse L32 ribosomal protein promoter elements in mouse myoblasts, fibers, and L cells

open access: closedJournal of Cellular Biochemistry, 1992
AbstractThe sequences required for the maximal expression of the mouse L32 ribosomal protein gene and the binding of nuclear factors to L32 promoter elements were analyzed in mouse myoblasts, fibers, and L cells. Various L32 r‐protein promoter sequences were linked to the chloramphenicol acetyltransferase gene (CAT), and the expression of the chimeric ...

Sequence analysis of a processed gene coding for mouse ribosomal protein L32

Gene, 1988
The nucleotide sequence of a mouse ribosomal protein gene, identified by hybridization with the gene encoding the Drosophila ribosomal (r-) protein 49, was determined by cloning in the phage M13 and dideoxy sequencing. The mouse gene, L32', is a member of the multigene family encoding mammalian r-protein L32.

The Gene of the Yeast Ribosomal Protein L32

1988
The formation of ribosomes in eucaryotes requires simultaneous synthesis of four rRNAs and more than 70 ribosomal proteins (rP). In procaryotes the rP genes are clustered in large operons and their coordinate expression could be regulated at few control sites.

Metaheuristic Optimization of Perovskite Solar Cell using Hybrid L32 Taguchi Doe-Based Genetic Algorithm

Journal of Advanced Research Design
Solar cells convert sunlight into electricity, and the efficiency of this conversion process largely depends on the material parameters. Optimizing these parameters, like thickness and carrier concentration, could significantly increase the efficiency of

The determination of plagioclase feldspars from granitic rocks, using the (l3l/l32) reflection

Geologiska Föreningen i Stockholm Förhandlingar, 1972
Abstract The An contents of plagioclases from granitic rocks have been determined by X-ray diffractometry, using the (131/132) reflection. This method yielded values which are generally slightly higher than measurements with the universal stage.

Photosubstitution reactions of the ruthenium(II) arene complexes Ru(.eta.6-arene)L32+ (L = ammonia or water) in aqueous solution

, 1986
Irradiation of the ruthenium(II) complexes Ru(eta/sup 6/-arene)L/sub 3//sup 2 +/ (arene = benzene, toluene, or isopropyltoluene; L = NH/sub 3/ or H/sub 2/O) in aqueous solution leads in each case to aquation of arene as the only observable photoreaction (

[Mapping of the genes for ribosomal proteins S26, L19, and L32 on human chromosomes].

Bioorganicheskaia khimiia, 1996
A fragment of cDNA and an intron-containing fragment of the human L19 ribosomal protein (RPL19) gene, and introns of the human ribosomal proteins S26 (RPS26) and L32 (RPL32) genes were cloned and sequenced. The intron-containing genes of these ribosomal proteins were mapped to human chromosomes by means of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using a human ...
