Weak lines in the L spectrum of73Ta
Journal of Physics B: Atomic and Molecular Physics, 1970The L spectrum of tantalum 73 was re-investigated with special reference to weak lines. As a result of this, the existence of the so far unconfirmed transitions LIOII, LIIMII, LIIMIII, LIINII, LIINV, LIINVI, LIIOII, LIIIMII and LIIIMIII has been confirmed.

Measurement of average L-shell fluorescence yields in elements 73⩽Z⩽92
Physica B+C, 1985Abstract The average L-shell fluorescence yields in the elements Ta, W, Au, Hg, Tl, Pb, Bi, Th and U have been measured using photoionization for creating the vacancies. The measured values are found to agree well with those calculated using the fitted values of L-shell fluorescence and the Coster-Kronig yields given by Krause et al.

Physical Review A, 1991An analysis of the {ital L} x-ray spectra, induced by {similar to}50 keV electron impact and recorded with a curved crystal spectrometer, has been performed based on a calculation model that takes into account all physical events taking place during the initial ionization and inner-vacancy processes.

L 1 subshell yields atZ=73 from the electron capture decay of181W
Zeitschrift f�r Physik A: Atoms and Nuclei, 1979The TaL x ray spectrum from the electron capture decay of181W is analyzed into components characteristic of the threeL-subshells and theL1 subshell yields atZ=73 are determined to beΩ1=0.15±0.02,f12=0.23±0.05 andf13=0.32±0.02. A revised decay scheme for the decay of181W is proposed from measurements of x-ray and gamma intensities.
