A direct-readout photoelectrochemical (PEC) lab-on-paper device based on coupled an electricity generating system and paper supercapacitors was established for highly sensitive detection of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Concretely, CdSe quantum dots (QDs) decorated ZnO networks assembled sensing surface provided outstanding photoelectric properties, on

In this work, microfluidic paper-based analytical device (μ-PAD) was applied in a photoelectrochemical (PEC) method and thus a truly low-cost, simple, portable, and disposable microfluidic PEC origami device (μ-PECOD) was demonstrated. The molecular imprinting technique was introduced into microfluidic paper-based analytical devices (μ-PADs) through ...

This paper describes the design and construction of a sudoku-like lab-on-paper platform, in which dual enhancement of reaction intermediates strategy was incorporated for multiplexed competitive electrochemiluminescence (ECL) cyto-assay. Benefiting from the sudoku-like structure, integrated multifunctions were obtained on such an elaborately devised ...

Bifunctional nanocrystals which combine two kinds of materials into single nanoparticles hold great promise in photoelectrochemical (PEC) analysis, particularly for nanocrystals based on perovskite quantum dots (QDs) which generally exhibit excellent photoelectric activity yet poor stability and upconversion nanoparticles (UCNP) that normally suffer ...

Lab-on-paper optical sensor for smartphone-based quantitative estimation of uranyl ions
Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry, 2018We report here, for the first time, a smartphone-based lab-on-paper method for determination of uranium in ores. The method is based on the reaction with arsenazo-III on a filter-paper strip. The intensity of the green color was determined by a smartphone. The calibration curve is linear up to at least 60 μg mL−1 of uranium with LOD and LOQ values of 0.

A novel lab-on-paper device combining electrochemical and colorimetric detection for the rapid screening of Au(III) in the presence of a common interference, Fe(III), in industrial waste solutions is presented here. With dilute aqua regia (0.1 M HCl + 0.05 M HNO(3)) as the supporting electrolyte, square wave voltammetry on paper provided a well-defined

Paper-based chips (PB-chips; also referred to as lab-on-paper chips) are using patterned paper as a substrate in a lab-on-a-chip platform. They represent an outstanding technique for fabrication of analytical devices for multiplex analyte assays. Typical features include low-cost, portability, disposability and small sample consumption.

In this work, a new molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) based lab-on-paper device with chemiluminescence (CL) detection of dichlorvos (DDV) was designed. With the circle-shaped device, the MIP layer with certain depth was synthesized and adsorbed on the paper surface and DDV can be selectively imprinted on it.
