Mechanism‐Informed Machine Learning Enables Discovery of Oncolytic Peptides for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MISPOP integrates ensemble learning with membrane‐active physicochemical priors to identify Dermaseptin‐S9, a natural oncolytic peptide that disrupts tumor membranes, triggers immunogenic cell death, and shows strong antitumor activity. The study illustrates a mechanism‐informed route from peptide sequence data to cancer immunotherapy leads.

Competitive and Segmented Informal Labor Markets [PDF]

open access: yes
It has recently been argued that the informal sector in developing countries shows a dual structure, with part of the informal sector being competitive to the formal sector and part of the informal sector being the result of market segmentation.

Enforcement of Labor Regulation and the Labor Market Effects of Trade: Evidence from Brazil [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
How does enforcement of labor regulations shape the labor market effects of trade? To tackle this question, we exploit the Brazilian trade liberalization episode and exogenous variation in the intensity of both the trade shock and enforcement across ...

A Supramolecular Reversible and Anisotropic Conductive Adhesive for Flexible Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Supramolecular network‐based nanocomposites are developed as a stretchable conductive adhesive for flexible electronics. It's as convenient as traditional solders and constructs anisotropic conductive and robust stretchable connections among diverse soft/rigid materials.

Unionized Labor Market and Regulation of Monopoly [PDF]

open access: yes
In developing countries, empirical evidence suggests that labor unions entail a positive wage gap for unionized workers, in particular in monopolistic and publicly controlled firms.

Single‐Cell Annotation and Localization via Integrating Spatial Transcriptomics Maps the Mouse Ocular Atlas and RAO Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We developed the ASCAL pipeline, integrating complementary spatial transcriptomics, to construct a high‐fidelity mouse whole‐eye single‐cell atlas. Applying ASCAL to a retinal artery occlusion (RAO) model revealed spatially restricted immune activation localized to the ganglion cell layer and the selective depletion of a translationally active, outer ...

A General Enzymatic Strategy for Site‐Specific Incorporation of Modified Genetic Building Blocks Into DNA

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Eco‐friendly enzymatic synthesis of high‐fidelity, site‐specifically modified DNA using 3′‐blocked nucleotides for full synthetic control and next‐generation sequencing compatibility. ABSTRACT Methods for site‐specific incorporation of modified DNA building blocks remain limited.
