[Pay for medical labor: a study of systems and forms of payment in general hospitals in Belo Horizonte, Brazil].

A descriptive analysis of systems and forms of payment for medical labor was carried out based on an intentional sample of hospitals, according to preestablished criteria. Hospital administrators, physicians, and representatives of medical and entrepreneurial corporations were interviewed.
