High‐Performance Electrocatalysts of Potassium Lactate Oxidation for Hydrogen and Solid Potassium Acetate Production

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Potassium lactate, produced from polylactic acid plastic waste, is oxidized to potassium acetate on an anode using Ni(Co)OOH as the electrocatalyst, while hydrogen is simultaneously generated at the cathode, through a highly efficient industrial‐scale electrolysis system.

Aggregate labor productivity [PDF]

open access: yesIZA World of Labor, 2018
Aggregate labor productivity is a central indicator of an economy’s economic development and a wellspring of living standards. Somewhat controversially, many macroeconomists see productivity as a primary driver of fluctuations in economic activity along the business cycle.

Directed Functionalization of Recombinant Spider Silk Nonwoven Membranes with Antibodies Using Non‐Canonical Amino Acids

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A recombinant spider silk protein was functionalized by incorporating genetically encoded bio‐orthogonal reactive azido‐groups. The azido‐functionalized proteins were produced in a scalable biotechnological process, and particles, films, as well as nanofibers were established as anchorage for fully functional antibodies via site‐specific bio‐orthogonal

Quantitative Proteomics and CRISPR/Cas9 Editing Reveal UPR‐Mediated Control of Immunoglobulin Homeostasis in Hybridomas

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
BCR sequencing and subclone analysis correlated immunoglobulin (Ig) chain loss in dysfunctional hybridomas with disrupted monoclonal antibody homeostasis. Proteomics‐guided CRISPR/Cas9 editing revealed that the unfolded protein response (UPR) regulates aberrant Ig synthesis.

Leisure time and labor productivity: a new economic view rooted from sociological perspective

open access: yesEconomics: Journal Articles, 2019
Most economists measure labor productivity based on activities conducted at places of work and do not consider leisure time in their calculations. In contrast, psychologists and sociologists argue that leisure has a positive role in the production ...
