Feasibility of a ctDNA multigenic panel for non‐small‐cell lung cancer early detection and disease surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.

Statistical Evaluation of Correlation between Labor Supply and Demand: Methodology and Practice

open access: yesСтатистика України, 2017
The aim of study is to justify theoretical and methodological principles and statistical tools for comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the correlation between labor demand and supply at the labor market.

The Impact of Labor Force Supply by Afghan Refugees on Unemployment in Iran [PDF]

open access: yesFaslnāmah-i Pizhūhish/Nāmah-i Iqtisādī, 2018
Immigration is one of main concerns of policymakers in situations of recession and low return on economic activities due to its impact on labor supply and pressure on unemployment.

Collective labor supply with children [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We extend the collective model of household behavior to allow for the existence of public consumption. We show how this model allows the analysis of welfare consequences of policies aimed at changing the distribution of power within the household.

Grandchildren and Their Grandparents' Labor Supply [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2014
We study how becoming a grandparent affects grandparents’ labor supply. In a simple model of the allocation of time in which seniors care about their offspring’s welfare and also value time spent with family children, the sign of the effect is ambiguous.

Strength through diversity: how cancers thrive when clones cooperate

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumor heterogeneity can offer direct benefits to the tumor through cooperation between different clones. In this review, Kuiken et al. discuss existing evidence for clonal cooperativity to identify overarching principles, and highlight how novel technological developments could address remaining open questions.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Labor supply models: unobserved heterogeneity, nonparticipation and dynamics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This chapter is concerned with the identification and estimation of models of labor supply. The focus is on the key issues that arise from unobserved heterogeneity, nonparticipation and dynamics.

Social Interactions in Labor Supply [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the European Economic Association, 2006
Our research examines the effect of interdependence on estimation and interpretation of earnings/labor supply equations. We consider the cases of (1) a positive spillover from others' labor supplied and (2) a need for conformity with others' labor supplied.
