Acoustic Rayleigh Wave Turbulence in Soft Viscoelastic Matter

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Discrete acoustic Rayleigh wave turbulence (DARWT) is observed on the free surface of viscoelastic materials under monochromatic excitation. Governed by bulk shear rigidity supporting inertial modes against surface tension, the nonlinear Rayleigh waves exhibit distinct power‐law scaling and turbulence features in their Kolmogorov–Zakharov spectra. This

A Novel Gene Synthesis Platform for Designing Functional Protein Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new gene synthesis method consisting of rolling‐circle amplification and seamless cloning facilitates the advanced design of protein polymers with repetitive sequences. This method is more cost‐effective and user‐friendly than conventional methods. Using this method, a library of polymers with different repeat units can be easily constructed.

MXene‐Supported Single‐Atom Electrocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review discusses the characteristics and synthesis of MXenes to elucidate their benefits as support materials. Next, methods and characterization for anchoring SAs onto MXene are discussed. Subsequently, a comprehensive discussion is provided on the recent applications of MXene‐supported SACs in electrocatalysis. Finally, the future challenges and
