Tunable High‐Performance Metamaterial Filters Based on Novel SRR Architectures
Based on two novel SRR configurations and two independent SRR integration approaches, four tunable bandpass metamaterial filters were fabricated with an ultra‐thin ceramic substrate. Among them, SM‐2 achieves over 97% electromagnetic wave transmittance, with a minimal 1.15% deviation in its resonant frequency prediction, making them promising ...

Observation of Excitonic Instability in a Monolayer Ta2NiSe5 With Strain Disorder
Monolayer Ta2${\rm Ta}_2$NiSe5${\rm NiSe}_5$ sustains an excitonic insulating phase up to 190 K, with Raman signatures of gap opening and critical excitonic fluctuations. Thickness‐independent large gap ratios highlight strong exciton‐phonon coupling, while substrate‐induced strain disorder depresses Tc, establishing monolayer Ta2${\rm Ta}_2$NiSe5${\rm

Cuttlebone‐inspired architected metamaterials introduce controlled structural disorder to simultaneously enhance strength, energy absorption, and compressive stability. Tunable disorder suppresses shear anisotropy, outperforms periodic lattices, and establishes discrete randomness as a robust route to high‐performance lightweight mechanical ...

Abstract The demise of socialism in Russia has restored labour law to a normal stature within the legal system, although reforms in labour law have not been fully reflective of the requirements of a market economy. Early Soviet legislation dealt piecemeal with labour conditions and social insurance. An eight-hour work day was established

Labour, Law and Digitalisation
2022Digital transformation of work has recently become the hot topic of labour law research, probably for more than one simple reason. New digital technologies have rapidly spread all over the world in the field of work (as well), and their future seems to be even brighter. We must reasonably expect that its role in economic, as well as work relations will

‘What is labour law for?’ is a question with a past. I therefore begin by sketching out its history. It has a present too, whose most striking feature – I argue – may well be the end of ‘labour.’ And of course it has a future: what will labour law look like ‘after labour?’ I address all three questions largely from a North American perspective, but ...

Labour Law, now in its third edition, is a well established text which offers a comprehensive and critical account of the subject by a team of prominent labour lawyers. It examines both collective labour relations and individual employment rights, including equality law, and does so while having full regard to the international labour standards as well
