Lacrimal gland hemangiopericytoma
Orbit, 1998A 45-year-old man and a 21-year old man presented with palpable lacrimal gland fossa masses and mechanical ptosis and proptosis, respectively. Computed tomography demonstrated well-circumscribed, partially cystic tumors. Echography in one case showed a well-outlined, predominantly low-reflective lesion with cysts and moderate vascularity detected by ...

A Lacrimal Gland Choristoma of the Lacrimal Sac
Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, 2018Choristomatous lacrimal gland tissue has been detected in many different sites of the ocular adnexa, but has never before been convincingly described in the submucosa of the lacrimal sac. A 77-year-old woman with epiphora had a biopsy of the sac wall preformed during a dacryocystorhinostomy that contained such a lacrimal choristoma.

Epithelioid myoepithelioma of lacrimal gland
Virchows Archiv, 2004we describe a rare case of myoepithelioma of the lacrimal gland composed exclusively of epithelioid cells. Our case showed clear-cut morphological and immunohistochemical features of myoepithelioma that allowed us to easily distinguish it from the above-described benign and malignant proliferation of the lacrimal gland.

A Case of Lacrimal Gland Dirofilariasis
Ophthalmologica, 2007A patient with a diagnosis of chronic and idiopathic unilateral dacryoadenitis was submitted to our clinic for diagnostic reasons from a regional hospital. Within a period of 1 year, this was the second onset of a swelling in the region of the lacrimal gland which – unlike the first time – showed resistance to antibiotic treatment.
