Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Arising in the Lacrimal Sac.
The Journal of craniofacial surgery (Print), 2021The authors report a single case of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma arising in the lacrimal sac. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is a third most common primary ocular adnexal lymphoma, which is the most common primary ocular malignant disease in adults.

A case of fibroma arising from the anterolateral wall of a healthy lacrimal sac on the left side in a 22-year-old male is reported. There was no epiphora. The tumor presented as a painless, nonreducible swelling in the lacrimal sac region. It was excised off leaving a patent sac.

Hemangiopericytoma of the Lacrimal Sac
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1998Hemangiopericytoma (HPCT) rarely originates in the lacrimal sac; 7 cases have been reported previously and only 1 contained an ultrastructural study. In this article we report an additional case and review the previous reports. While the initial biopsy specimen showed nonspecific cytologic abnormalities, light and electron microscopic studies on the ...

Carcinoma of lacrimal canaliculi and lacrimal sac
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 1970MALIGNANT epithelial tumors of the lacrimal drainage system are rarely encountered. In over 100 cases of malignant lacrimal sac tumors reported, about one half have been carcinomas.1-5Predominant among these carcinomas is a nonkeratinizing epidermoid carcinoma which is usually moderately well differentiated.

Neurofibroma of the lacrimal sac
Orbit, 2002Neurofibroma is an extremely rare neural tumor of the lacrimal sac. We present a case of neurofibroma of the lacrimal sac in a 45-year-old lady. Based on the history of intermittent epiphora, presence of a mass in the lacrimal sac region, dacryocystogram suggestive of space occupying lesion within the lacrimal sac and computed tomographic image of a ...

Orbit, 2012
A right orbit was exenterated from a male cadaver that was 85 years of age at death. It was microscopically shown for the first time that the lacrimal sac septum divided the lumen into two spaces. It consisted of fibrous tissue with a cavernous structure and was lined with stratified columnar epithelium similar to the lacrimal sac wall.
