Art v 1 and Amb a 4 Co‐Sensitization Identifies Italian Patients at Risk for Mugwort‐Celery‐Spice Syndrome

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Three molecular profiles identified among Art v 1/Amb a 4‐sensitized patients: Art v 1 monosensitization, Amb a 4 monosensitization, and dual sensitization to both allergens. Art v 1 monosensitization was predominantly associated with allergic rhinitis, reflecting a classical airborne allergy pattern.

Uso de Fertilizantes Orgánicos para Conservar la Calidad de Lactuca sativa L. Durante el Almacenamiento Postcosecha

open access: yesTerra Latinoamericana

Evolutionary divergence and functional insights into the heteromeric cis‐prenyltransferase of Paramecium tetraurelia

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Heteromeric cis‐prenyltransferases (CPT) are indispensable for dolichol synthesis and protein N‐glycosylation in most eukaryotes. The catalytic subunits are strongly conserved throughout evolution, in contrast to the evolutionarily variable accessory subunits. The POC1 protein from Paramecium tetraurelia is the smallest identified CPT‐accessory subunit

The effect of orally consumed Lactuca sativa syrup on human milk volume and weight gain in the preterm infant: a randomized controlled clinical trial

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
Human milk feeding can support premature infants to thrive. Yet those with premature infants can be challenged in human milk production. Considering this, and the use of potentially harmful human milk enhancers, the present study was conducted with the ...

Enhancing tomato regeneration and genetic transformation efficiencies via exogenous chemical treatment and the GRF5 gene modulation

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, EarlyView.
Supplementation of Driver and Kuniyuki Walnut Medium with phloroglucinol enhanced regeneration efficiency in tomato tissue culture. Heterologous expression of an Arabidopsis growth‐regulating factor gene, GROWTH‐REGULATING FACTOR5 (GRF5), in tomato improved regeneration and transformation efficiency, suggesting a synergistic effect between ...

The miR319/bHLH094 Module Regulates Creeping Bentgrass Thermotolerance by Modulating Auxin Biosynthesis and Signalling Pathway

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT MicroRNA319 (miR319) has been demonstrated to regulate plant development and responses to stress such as drought and salt. However, its role in thermotolerance, particularly in cool season grasses, remains unclear. Here we report that miR319 plays a negative role in heat tolerance of creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera).

Allelopathic effect of medicinal plant Cannabis sativa L. on Lactuca sativa L. seed germination

open access: yesActa agriculturae Slovenica, 2015
In order to examine allelopathic effect of Cannabis sativa L. on germination capability and seedling growth of Lactuca sativa L., a study was performed in laboratory conditions. Treatments were set up in randomised block design in four replications for each of four concentration ranges of 25, 50, 75 and 100 % of aqueous extract made of shoot parts and ...
