On the double lacunary (A, φ)-sequence spaces of order α [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2019
In this paper, our goal is to extend a few results known in the literature for ordinary (single) sequences to multiply sequences of real numbers. Further we introduce an idea of double lacunary strong (A, φ)- convergence with respect to a modulus function.

Lacunary Statistical Convergence of Sequences of Real-Valued Functions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2013
We introduce the concepts of the lacunary statistical convergence of sequences of real-valued functions. We also give the relation between this convergence and strongly lacunary and pointwise statistical convergence.

Lacunary statistical convergence and inclusion properties between lacunary methods

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
A lacunary sequence is an increasing integer sequence θ={kr} such that kr−kr−1→∞ as r→∞. A sequence x is called sθ-convergent to L provided that for each ϵ>0, limr(1/(kr−kr−1)){the number of   kr ...

On some lacunary difference sequence spaces defined by a sequence of Orlicz functions and q-lacunary Δnm-statistical convergence

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2012
In this article, we introduce the lacunary difference sequence spaces w0(M, θ, Δnm, p, q), w1(M, θ, Δnm, p, q) and w∞(M, θ, Δnm, p, q) using a sequence M = (Mk) of Orlicz functions and investigate some relevant properties of these spaces. Then, we define

Some Geometric Properties of a Generalized Difference Sequence Space Involving Lacunary Sequence

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we define a new generalized difference sequence space l(p, θ, ∆, s) involving lacunary sequence where p = (pr) is a bounded sequence of positive real numbers with pr > 1 for all r ∈ N and s ≥ 0. Then, we examine the uniform Opial property,

Pringsheim and lacunary $\Delta$-statistical convergence for double sequence on $\mathscr{L}-$fuzzy normed space

open access: yesProyecciones (Antofagasta)
We explore the idea of lacunary $\Delta$-statistical convergence for double sequences on $L$-fuzzy normed spaces. Then, we provide a useful characterization of the lacunary $\Delta$-statistical convergence of double sequences with respect to their ...
