I-Lacunary Statistical Convergence in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Normed Spaces

open access: yesAfyon Kocatepe University Journal of Sciences and Engineering, 2020
In this study, first, we investigate the notions of ℐ-lacunary statistical convergence and strongly ℐlacunary convergence with regards to the intuitionistic fuzzy norm (IFN for short) (μ,ν). Then, we investigate relationships among this new concepts and make important observations about them.

Lacunary statistical cluster points of sequences [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this note we introduce the concept of a lacunary statistical cluster (l.s.c.) point and prove some of its properties in finite dimensional Banach spaces. We develop the method suggested by S. Pehlivan and M.A.

On Asymptotically Lacunary Statistical Equivalent Set Sequences

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2013
This paper presents three definitions which are natural combination of the definitions of asymptotic equivalence, statistical convergence, lacunary statistical convergence, and Wijsman convergence.

Bulanık Sayılar için Üç İndisli Lacunary Dizi Uzayları

open access: yesSüleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Fen Dergisi, 2022
Nanda [29] 1989 yılında bütün yakınsak bulanık sayı dizilerinin tam metrik uzaylar olduğunu gösterdi. Ayrıca, Nuray [30] bulanık sayılarda lacunary istatistiksel yakınsak ve istatistiksel yakınsak diziler arasındaki ilişkileri verdi.

Statistical convergence of order α in probability

open access: yesArab Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2015
In this paper the ideas of different types of convergence of a sequence of random variables in probability, namely, statistical convergence of order α in probability, strong p-Cesàro summability of order α in probability, lacunary statistical ...

Characterizations of a Banach Space through the Strong Lacunary and the Lacunary Statistical Summabilities

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In this manuscript we characterize the completeness of a normed space through the strong lacunary ( N θ ) and lacunary statistical convergence ( S θ ) of series. A new characterization of weakly unconditionally Cauchy series through N θ

Statistical lacunary invariant summability of double sequences [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In this study, we give definitions of lacunary σ-summability, strongly p-lacunary σ-summability and statistical lacunary σ-convergence for double sequences.

Erd\H{o}s-Ulam ideals vs. simple density ideals

open access: yes, 2018
The main aim of this paper is to bridge two directions of research generalizing asymptotic density zero sets. This enables to transfer results concerning one direction to the other one. Consider a function $g\colon\omega\to [0,\infty)$ such that $\lim_{

Generalized Lacunary Statistical Difference Sequence Spaces of Fractional Order

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2015
We generalize the lacunary statistical convergence by introducing the generalized difference operator Δνα of fractional order, where α is a proper fraction and ν=(νk) is any fixed sequence of nonzero real or complex numbers.

Standardness as an invariant formulation of independence

open access: yes, 2015
The notion of a homogeneous standard filtration of $\sigma$-algebras was introduced by the author in 1970. The main theorem asserted that a homogeneous filtration is standard, i.e., generated by a sequence of independent random variables, if and only if ...
