Pour une analyse symétrique des illustrations de science et de science-fiction
Beginning with the famous scene in Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea (1869–71) in which a giant squid appears facing the large window of the Nautilus, just as the heroes were discussing its possible existence, this article is an attempt

Parameterization invariance and shape equations of elastic axisymmetric vesicles
The issue of different parameterizations of the axisymmetric vesicle shape addressed by Hu Jian-Guo and Ou-Yang Zhong-Can [ Phys.Rev. E {\bf 47} (1993) 461 ] is reassesed, especially as it transpires through the corresponding Euler - Lagrange equations ...

Pak Biawak, a necrobot, embodies an unusual fusion of biology and robotics. Designed to repurpose natural structures after death, it challenges conventional boundaries between nature and engineering. Its movements are precise yet unsettling, raising questions about sustainability, ethics, and the untapped potential of biointegrated machines.

B\"acklund transformations for the rational Lagrange chain
We consider a long--range homogeneous chain where the local variables are the generators of the direct sum of $N$ $\mathfrak{e}(3)$ interacting Lagrange tops.

Numerical Modeling of Photothermal Self‐Excited Composite Oscillators
We present a numerical framework for simulating photothermal self‐excited oscillations. The driving mechanism is elucidated by highlighting the roles of inertia and overshoot, as well as the phase lag between the thermal moment and the oscillation angle, which together construct the feedback loop between the system state and the environmental stimulus.

Remarks on Finsler Geometry and Lorentz Violation
The physics of classical particles in a Lorentz-breaking spacetime has numerous features resembling the properties of Finsler geometry. In particular, the Lagrange function plays a role similar to that of a Finsler structure function.

Heuristically Adaptive Diffusion‐Model Evolutionary Strategy
Building on the mathematical equivalence between diffusion models and evolutionary algorithms, researchers demonstrate unprecedented control over evolutionary optimization through conditional diffusion. By training diffusion models to associate parameters with specific traits, they can guide evolution toward solutions exhibiting desired behaviors ...

Balancing control of unicycle robot by using sliding control
This paper discusses about balancing control of unicycle robot.Unicycle robot consists of pitch which acts like inverted pendulum and roll which acts like reaction wheel pendulum. The robot which does not have actuator located in yaw axis is made to ...

Lagrange coordinates for the Einstein-Euler equations
We derive a new symmetric hyperbolic formulation of the Einstein-Euler equations in Lagrange coordinates that are adapted to the Frauendiener-Walton formulation of the Euler equations.
