Ensemble‐based soil liquefaction assessment: Leveraging CPT data for enhanced predictions
Abstract This study focuses on predicting soil liquefaction, a critical phenomenon that can significantly impact the stability and safety of structures during seismic events. Accurate liquefaction assessment is vital for geotechnical engineering, as it informs the design and mitigation strategies needed to safeguard infrastructure and reduce the risk ...

A dynamic modeling and trajectory tracking control method for dual-arm mechanism for cabin docking
A new track tracking control method based on Lagrange dynamic equation is proposed. Firstly, the kinetic energy equation and potential energy equation of the left and right robotic arms are derived and calculated based on Lagrange function and the robot ...

Restricted Tweedie stochastic block models
Abstract The stochastic block model (SBM) is a widely used framework for community detection in networks, where the network structure is typically represented by an adjacency matrix. However, conventional SBMs are not directly applicable to an adjacency matrix that consists of nonnegative zero‐inflated continuous edge weights.

Self‐Similar Blowup for the Cubic Schrödinger Equation
ABSTRACT We give a rigorous proof for the existence of a finite‐energy, self‐similar solution to the focusing cubic Schrödinger equation in three spatial dimensions. The proof is computer‐assisted and relies on a fixed point argument that shows the existence of a solution in the vicinity of a numerically constructed approximation.

UK method for solving multi-body system dynamics with singular problems
In the process of solving differential algebraic equations of motion for constrained multi-body dynamic system, singular problems such as singular mass matrices, singular configurations, and redundant constraints may appear, which bring great ...

ABSTRACT National and supranational institutions are establishing emission trading systems and control schemes in an attempt to manage stakeholders' willingness to engage with regulatory systems and reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). Nonetheless, despite the national and supranational focus on carbon neutrality, little research has been centered ...

ABSTRACT The study examines how narrative disclosure tones (NDTs) and corporate governance mechanisms (CGMs) affect sustainability reporting practices (SRP) in an emerging economy. Data from 125 non‐financial firms in Pakistan, spanning 2011–2022, are utilized. SRP is measured using both GRI and the novel IFRS S1 standards‐based indices. Three NDTs are
