Existence of Generalized Augmented Lagrange Multipliers for Constrained Optimization Problems
The augmented Lagrange multiplier as an important concept in duality theory for optimization problems is extended in this paper to generalized augmented Lagrange multipliers by allowing a nonlinear support for the augmented perturbation function.

Consistency between black hole and mimetic gravity – Case of (2 + 1)-dimensional gravity
We show that the mimetic theory with the constraint gρσ∂ρϕ∂σϕ=1 cannot realize the black hole geometry with the horizon(s). To overcome such issue, we may change the mimetic constraint a little bit by ω(ϕ)gρσ∂ρϕ∂σϕ=−1, where ω(ϕ) is a function of the ...

Analysis of Wide-Frequency Dense Signals Based on Fast Minimization Algorithm
To improve the detection speed for wide-frequency dense signals (WFDSs), a fast minimization algorithm (FMA) was proposed in this study. Firstly, this study modeled the WFDSs and performed a Taylor-series expansion of the sampled model.

Augmented Lagrangian method for imposing nonlinear multi freedom constraints in static analysis for frames using FEM [PDF]
This paper focuses on the treatment of nonlinear multi freedom constraints using an augmented Lagrangian method in finite element analysis of frames. The process of imposing boundary constraints is developed by changing the assembly stiffness equation to

Quantum dynamics of Lagrange multipliers
When implementing a non-linear constraint in quantum field theory by means of a Lagrange multiplier, $ł(x)$, it is often the case that quantum dynamics induce quadratic and even higher order terms in $ł(x)$, which then does not enforce the constraint anymore. This is illustrated in the case of Unimodular Gravity, where the constraint is that the metric
