The Lagrangian model is widely used to track particles in water resources. The model, primarily a stochastic deterministic solution, is coupled with virtual passive particles driven by hydrodynamic forces.

Geophysical Investigations at the Artemision at Amarynthos of Euboea (Greece)
ABSTRACT A combination of resistivity mapping and three‐dimensional electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) was used to investigate the subsurface of the sanctuary of Artemis Amarysia in Amarynthos, Euboea (Greece), an area where archaeological remains from the Bronze Age to the post‐Byzantine period are preserved.

The Symmetries of Equivalent Lagrangian Systems and Constants of Motion [PDF]
In this paper Mathematical structure of time-dependent Lagrangian systems and their symmetries are extended and the explicit relation between constants of motion and infinitesimal symmetries of time-dependent Lagrangian systems are considered.

White Phosphorus Activation with Cobalt–Zinc Complexes: Access to Phosphorus‐Rich Sandwich Compounds
Heterometallic complexes showcasing Co–Zn interactions have been synthesized through straightforward salt metathesis methods. Their reaction with white phosphorus yields a dimeric sandwich complex containing bridging P2 units. A stepwise mechanism for its formation is proposed, supported by the isolation of intermediates.

Lagrangian non-intersections [PDF]
In this paper we use Floer theory to study topological restrictions on Lagrangian embeddings in closed symplectic manifolds. One of the phenomena arising from our results is ``homological rigidity'' of Lagrangian submanifolds. Namely, in certain symplectic manifolds, conditions on low dimensional topological invariants of a Lagrangian (such as its ...

Optimization of 3D‐Printed Structured Packings—Current State and Future Developments
This paper gives an overview about structured packing development for distillation, surveying heuristic development cycles, computational fluid dynamics simulations, and additive manufacturing techniques. The emerging application of shape optimization to improve packings is emphasized, and its benefits, impact, and limitations are discussed.

Lagrangian Surplusection Phenomena
Suppose you have a family of Lagrangian submanifolds $L_t$ and an auxiliary Lagrangian $K$. Suppose that $K$ intersects some of the $L_t$ more than the minimal number of times. Can you eliminate surplus intersection (surplusection) with all fibres by performing a Hamiltonian isotopy of $K$?

Isoperimetric inequalities on slabs with applications to cubes and Gaussian slabs
Abstract We study isoperimetric inequalities on “slabs”, namely weighted Riemannian manifolds obtained as the product of the uniform measure on a finite length interval with a codimension‐one base. As our two main applications, we consider the case when the base is the flat torus R2/2Z2$\mathbb {R}^2 / 2 \mathbb {Z}^2$ and the standard Gaussian measure
