Calculation of Combustion Products Using 6 Species Equilibrium Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
An equilibrium model for hydrocarbon combustion calculation is developed. 6 major products in combustion gas are considered in this model. It gives more accurate result than that from low temperature combustion model and it is more simple than 10 species

Laguerre-like inclusion method for polynomial zeros

open access: yesJournal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2003
The author presents a new iterative method for the simultaneous computation of all zeroes of a polynomial that has only simple roots. The method has order four of convergence (we note that Newton's method has only order 2) and is based on complex circular interval arithmetic.

Laguerre wavelet method for solving Troesch equation

open access: yesBalıkesir Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Dergisi, 2019
The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the use of the Laguerre wavelet method in the solution of Troesch’s equation, which is a stiff nonlinear equation. The unknown function is approximated by Laguerre wavelets and the equation is transformed into a system of algebraic equations.

Transverse vibration of slender sandwich beams with viscoelastic inner layer via a Galerkin-type state-space approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A novel state-space model for studying free and forced transverse vibrations of sandwich beams, made of two outer elastic beams of the same length, continuously joined by an inner shear-type viscoelastic layer, is presented.
