Pine invasion reduced native species abundance, plant cover, richness and diversity, with an increase over time since invasion. This research aims to evaluate some chemical parameters of surface sediments of La Restinga coastal lagoon, located in Margarita Island, Nueva Esparta State, Venezuela.
