ABSTRACT Fine‐scale environmental drivers shape freshwater mollusc assemblages in urban semiarid rivers. We examined how substrate composition and water chemistry influence mollusc richness and abundance along a polluted stretch of a river in the Brazilian semiarid region. Surveys at five sites recorded 2479 individuals.

AEGC conferred substantial resistance to weight gain and reduced food intake. AEGC may alleviate LR by regulating the levels of LEP and ADP. AEGC elevated the diversity of gut microbiota and reconstructed the composition. Changes such as CAG‐873 in gut microbiota may be the reason why AEGC alleviates LR.

Abstract We describe the Hettangian Caenogastropoda and Heterobranchia of the Luxembourg Sandstone Formation, a wedge of clastic sediments deposited along the eastern margin of Paris Basin during the Early Jurassic. Five new genera and 11 new species are erected: Bourguetia bipartita sp. nov., Globularia delsatei sp. nov., Oonia feidtorum sp.
