Abstract Purpose To investigate the clinical characteristics, internal correlations and risk factors for different locations of retinoschisis (RS) in an elderly high myopia (HM) population. Methods A total of 448 eyes (304 participants) were analysed and classified into no retinoschisis (no‐RS), paravascular retinoschisis (PVRS), peripapillary ...

Simultaneous retinal pigment epithelium tear and lamellar macular hole evolving to a full-thickness macular hole after intravitreal therapy [PDF]
Retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) tear is an uncommoncomplication of neovascular age-related macular degenera-tion (nAMD) with an increasing risk in cases with pigmentepithelium detachment (PED) and may appear sponta-neously or after intravitreal therapy (

Evaluation of Fundus Function in Mature Cataract Patients by Visual Electrophysiology
Purpose. To explore the value of visual electrophysiology in evaluating the fundus function of mature cataract patients. Methods. 124 mature cataract patients (153 eyes) were examined before cataract surgery; the examinations included best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), pattern visual evoked potential (PVEP), full‐field electroretinogram (ffERG), and ...

Macular Telangiectasia type 2: multimodal assessment of retinal function and microstructure
Abstract Purpose To assess the impact of neurodegenerative morphologic alterations due to macular telangiectasia type 2 (MacTel) on microperimetry (MP) and multifocal electroretinography (mfERG). Methods Thirty‐five eyes of 18 patients with MacTel were examined using spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD‐OCT), fundus autofluorescence (FAF ...

Abstract Purpose To evaluate neuroretinal integrity in different subtypes of optical coherence tomography (OCT)‐graded partial‐thickness macular holes. Methods Fovea‐centred SD‐OCT images (Cirrus, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG; Spectralis, Heidelberg Engineering GmbH) and visual acuity (VA) acquired at every visit were analysed by two retina specialists ...

Atypical Epiretinal Proliferation in a Case of Tuberculosis Uveitis. [PDF]
Introduction To report an unusual epiretinal proliferation (EP) case in tubercular serpiginous–like choroiditis. Case Presentation A 30‐year‐old female patient with a history of uveitis presented with blurry vision and floaters for 5 days. The visual acuities of the right and left eyes were 7/10 and 9/10, respectively.
