Investigation of High-Pressure Laminar Flame Speed Measurement
Volume 10: Heat Transfer and Thermal Engineering, 2023Abstract Laminar burning speed (LBS) measurements are a significant fundamental experiment in understanding the combustion characteristics of fuels of interest. Such information is necessary for many applications such as engine design or modeling more complicated combustion phenomena.

Direct experimental determination of laminar flame speeds
Symposium (International) on Combustion, 1998The stability of premixed flames at ultralow strain rates was assessed experimentally and numerically in the stagnation flow configuration. Results indicate that there are inherent limitations in establishing weakly strained planar flames, and that the accuracy of the laminar flame speeds obtained through linear extrapolations can, thus, be compromised.

Laminar flame speeds of moist syngas mixtures
Combustion and Flame, 2011This work experimentally investigates the effect of the presence of water vapor on the laminar flame speeds of moist syngas/air mixtures using the counterflow twin-flame configuration. The experimental results presented here are for fuel lean syngas mixtures with molar percentage of hydrogen in the hydrogen and carbon monoxide mixture varying from 5 ...
