Thermodilatometry of Laminated Glass

International Journal of Applied Glass Science, 2011
In this report, we describe the application of standard thermodilatometry (TD) as a tool to evaluate the thermal behavior of laminated glass assemblies where two glass layers are bonded together by a polymer interlayer. The measurement of the displacement perpendicular to the plane of the glass multilayer enables to follow the thermal expansion up to ...

Fiber metallic glass laminates

Journal of Materials Research, 2010
The fabrication and properties of fiber metallic glass laminates (FMGL) composite composed of Al-based metallic glasses ribbons and fiber/epoxy layers were reported. The metallic glass composite possesses structural features of low density and high specific strength compared to Al-based metallic glass and crystalline Al alloys.

Laminated glass column

2009
This research deals with the buckling behaviour of laminated glass (two monolithic layers of glass joined with an elastomeric interlayer to form a unit). In particular, the paper is devoted to the geometrically nonlinear behaviour of one-dimensional elements.
